[ History: Symbol of Unity ]
Since the birth of the Ocean there was an untame, rogue Clan who thrive on the strange border of unconventional and modernity. The Emiko, a secluded tribe of perspiring innovation. Once part of a larger culmination of Clans, the Emiko people eventually branched off on their own in the early throes of history. From the very dawn of time it was in their nature act in close-knit families who support and bolster each other, rather than struggle like the others in a hierarchy of loosely governed populations - where needless chaos usually ensued. Though they pulled their own weight by providing food through trade and a means of travel, their differences in belief ultimately led to their eventual separation.
And with the rising tide of the Hidden Villages, dozens of men and women sailed off to achieve their own dreams of greatness. Some never to return or be heard from again...
This is what drove the Emiko to near-extinction. However, they persevered, and yet-again, adapted to the ever-evolving world. Those who found their way back home settled-in and devoted their lives to teach their Clan-mates what they learned along their travels, gifting them with knowledge that was unknowingly essential to strive once again.
They cultivated their teachings into a new way of life, a similar yet unfamiliar life-style apart from what most Shinobi would consider "normal." Instead of weaponizing the elements to conquer, the founding Emiko fathers developed techniques that utilized their Chakra to perform astonishing feats. Feats that were as remarkable as: creating currents that brought droves of wild sea-life to their shores, adverting disastrous weather conditions to save their crops, and bringing barren lands to life in neighboring countries.
[ Through Thick and Thin ]
Nowadays, a peaceful pact of Emiko - about one-fifth the size of their original capacity - reside along the coastal region of the Land of Waves. Only a select few of the grandfathered members still live on 'til this day, as they lovingly oversee the on-goings of their children; and their children's children. One generation in particular was ushered-in and honored as being the most prodigal of their entire lineage. Having a lifetime of valuable lessons at their disposal, these new descendants were bred to ensure the prosperity of the Emiko bloodline. These said individuals were born, raised, and have grown-up to become the current face of the family name.
Not only did they take over the family business, they tripled their annual income in only a decade.
