| 「“灵龙“」“Spirit Dragon” Contract[Partner - Name]
Animal's Physical Information
Spirit dragons are somewhat of a mixed breed, hardly even resembling a dragon at all. Their grow up to about the size of chipmunk when fully matured, covered in short fur. Their heads resemble that of a bat, with big ears that are great for hearing and almond-shaped eyes with a vertical pupil. Upon their for head, the small animals has a nasal growth that starts at the nose, and goes upwards, branching out into a variety of different horns. Its body resembles that of a four legged mammal, such as a cat or dog, with the exception of two elliptical wings on its back with claws that they can use to grab things at the end, and two wings extending from base of its two back legs. With these wings, bird like features, and a long tail to help them steer, a spirit dragon can easily glide through the air. |
Animal's Ability Even though spirit dragons have talons, and sharp teeth because of their size they are very fragile. So, not only do they need to be carefully cared for, but if they are brought into battle, they must be protected in battle by its owner.
What makes these creatures valuable to people such as members of the Shang Clan, is their spiritual ability. Being born in the Wudang Mountain, a place of very spiritual importance and power, spirit dragon like other creatures inhabiting the mountain gain spiritual abilities. In this case, the spiritual ability being on that has to do with the elements.
You see, originally a spirit dragon's color is usually pure white, resembling their original element of air. However, as they grow older, the dragon is able to change the color, as well as the type of element that it can use in order to increase its chance of survival. Dragons who are born and grow up in the wild, can do this with their own chakra that they develop. However, it is nature's law that these dragons who where born in the wild never be domesticated and must stay in the wild. So, when one wishes to make a contract with these creatures they must travel up to the Wudang Mountain, and acquire an egg from a Spirit Dragon, that you must befriend. Once you have an egg, in order to hatch the egg, one must continue to pour their chakra into the egg for a few days causing your chakra and the spirit dragon's chakra to become forever tied. Once it is hatched, you become its "mother" and must take care of it, with it usually following you around everywhere. And with your chakra tied together, you can use your chakra to either, shield the dragon, change its element, and use an ability you know through the dragon. | Fire and Earth
