Named after the ancient Wisemen, the prodigal sons of the Medical arts, the Hall of Wisemen is actually the name of the medical areas of the Hidden Glaciers. It is perhaps the most advanced building in the village. While many other complexes are simply crafted out of ice, the hall is an actual building built from metals and wood alike. A massive system of wood burning stoves maintain the hospital at a constant temperature without melting the ice around the building itself.

Outsider's Rest is the massive economic center of the Hidden Glacier. Located at the entrance to the massive glacier caverns that house the village, it is this part of the village that outsiders see when they visit. A variety of shops, taverns, and bazaars fill this section of the village and all walks of exotic goods and items can be found within.

The Residential Cavern is a massive cave complex where the majority of the villagers take up residence in small outcroppings of ice that are allotted to them by the Shimokage and his council. These rooms, while not spacious, provide everything that a villager could need from clean water to a place to sleep

The Devil's Wharf is the massive series of docks and and unloading areas connected to the village itself through a complex series of ice caverns. The area was named after the devilish shrieking the wind produces as it races down the long corridors of the tunnel system.

The Hall of Echoes is the place of remembrance for the villagers of the Hidden Glacier. As it is difficult to bury people in ice, the bodies of the deceased are processed by the Village AnBu to make sure no information can be taken from then and the body is then dropped into the sea in an elaborate ceremony. In order to remember the fallen, a massive hallway was crafted along the way to the entrance to the Pillar of the Snow hag. This hall is lined with hundreds of small mirrors, each mirror formed from with a small bit of the deceased's chakra. When the mirrors are activated by movement, a reflection of the dead appears in the mirror as they were shortly before death. Proud, smiling, and standing tall because none of the Iron-willed Glacier nin die on bended knee.

Sitting on the shores of the Lake of Prayer and split in half by the River of the Golden Dragon is the trade and agricultural hub of the region. On either side of the river rests a variety of crops and orchards being nurtured and maintained by both the river and various Shinobi monks. From apples to corn, the skilled shinobi of the Eastern family ensure that village is a self-sufficient bread basket that does not require subsistence to come from outside sources. However, the scenery changes from agricultural to industrial once the river reaches the lake. A sprawling port covers most of the coast allowing for a huge quantity of ships to dock at once. This massive trade area is a source of massive revenue for the village. Two major roads run through this district, one for each side of the river. The Northern bank road reserved for imports and the Southern bank road reserved for exports though both roads are open to the general public.

Like its opposite, the Northern District, remains untouched by the Golden Dragon River. Rather than fields, a variety of clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and green houses that produce vital medical supplies fill the landscape. The Southern District is the district of healing, and is full of the greatest doctors and medical shinobi the Hidden Lantern Village could ever hope to produce. Within it's hospitals, patients from around the country are treated by the specially trained medical monks. In the greenhouses, shinobi work around the clock ensuring that the medicinal herbs are healthy and a stockpile maintained. Many of the medicines created here are exported by the Eastern District and assist in bringing in revenue for the village.

Where each other district has it's own distinct flavor and specialization, the Western District is no expectation. Situated at the base of the mineral rich Holy Mountains, the Western District is the district of craft and creation. With a variety of mines running deep into the mountains there is no shortage of raw materials and rare gemstones for the village to utilize for their daily needs. Whatever materials are not used are exported and it is thanks to the Western District that the Hidden Lantern is the largest exporter of rare gemstones and ore. Blacksmiths and jewel cutters are not the only things to be found, as with the blessings of the white tiger, many scientists and inventors have taken up residence in the district in hopes of bringing the technological edge to the village. To power all the machinery and technology that is present in the Western District, the Golden Dragon river that runs through the middle of it is harnessed through a variety of hydroelectric systems. These same systems also provide electricity to the rest of the village.

A series of stone steps carved into the Holy Mountains leads to the Nothern District. Representing the Dark Warrior of the Northern Heavens, this district specializes in the Martial Arts training of the Shinobi Monks as well as the spiritual side (Geographically North as well as the Heavens above). Hosting the Genbu Monastery at it's peak, where new academy students will relentlessly train in the Martial ways of the Hidden Lantern. Honing their bodies, minds and spirits; Much of their styles are highly sought after and revered as the producers of the best Taijutsu users in the world.

Though not many still follow the ways of the Gods, those who do come here to worship and learn the ways of their Order.

The Land of Temples is a verdant and serene land. Scenic rivers and lakes dot the countryside and countless temples and villages are scattered through out. Many travelers find themselves coming to this land for the various festivals and to find blessings at the various and plentiful shrines.

The Land of the Dead is a desolate place. Endless deserts stretch out in every direction; shelter and water few and far between. However, should one be fortunate enough the Land of the Dead is home to beautiful and mystifying oasis' said to have mystical properties.

In the Land of Volcanoes, one will find themselves in a dark and dreary land. Ash clouds and the sky and the foliage on the ground is unlike any you would find anywhere else - force to adapt to survive in the low light environment. Air quality is not the only hazard, molten debris falling being a common occurrence and the animals that have learned to survive here are no small threat.

The Land of Reeds - A swampy and humid place composed almost entirely of rivers and marshes. Travel here is done largely by raft though some land routes exist. One should take caution as to not stay out after dark as venomous insects and animals come out to play.
